This item is described as a 4040 spring T nut designed to stay in place in the slot without moving. Here is the T nut in my 4040 channel. The nut is clearly too small and does not stay in place.

Needed these for a 3d printer build and the price was right. When they are functioning, they work and fit great just be prepared to account for about 5-10% less than ordered due to the ball bearings and springs falling out of them. I had more than enough for my project but had to throw away a handful of them because they were broken on arrival. Not sure if it was the shipping or just what you get for the cost, but if you need 50, buy 75.

Got down to the last one in my first pack of 50. I was pleased with them so ordered a second pack of 50. In the first order, 1 out of 50 had a little casting flash on the short end by the threaded hole that kept it from rotating in place, a quick file swipe made it perfect. All the other ones had no issues. They hold their place but are moveable in the track if you need them to move. I think they are good quality and work well.

I have bought quite a few packs of T nuts off of Amazon. I started putting together a self-sourced Voron 2.4 and I was able to get an LDO frame on sale. I have 4 different brands of M5 T nuts for 2020 extrusions and these are the only ones that fit! I know the LDO extrusions are tighter than Misumi's, but I didn't realize the majority of T nuts on Amazon weren't going to work. If you have LDO extrusions, save yourself a headache and buy these!

I needed more of these magic clips that would allow me to attach more items to my Gigabot 3d Printer's frame. The price was much better than the ones re3d was offering. The quality on the metal was a little different but honestly they do not need to be perfectly smooth on the edges. It just needs to fit the frame and allow me to screw in the m5 screws and it did this perfectly, for a lot cheaper too.

I think the best sandwich right now would be an egg salad, or maybe a cold Reuben.Anyway, these nuts are sufficient for light duty. The quality control ain't super, but they'll do. Now, I'm gonna go try to make a sandwich.
