These sanding sticks work really well. I was quite surprised at how good they work the first time I gave them a try. They are a 280 grit which cuts pretty fast they might be a little too course on some fine work. I work on silver, and these would work great for burrs, but a bit to course for fine work. The grit stays on for quite a while depending on what you are working on. They were great on wood but didn't work as well on glue.

These are super handy to sand down surfaces in corners and other tight spaces. The wood dowel is tapered and grit is glued to the ends to provide a sharp point that can get into small spaces and gaps not otherwise reachable. The grit covers about 3/4" of the dowel end so you can also use the round portion to sand out inside curves to clean up burrs. The other end of the dowel is also cut to a taper and can be used for scraping out glue or debris. Terrific idea and a time and frustration saver.

Helpful for reaching those hard to reach areas that you can’t get to with a folded piece of sandpaper.
