Works great! Keeps the silt out. I now skip using the disk filters in the bottom of the container and just use this. No tears so far.

I use these for making large volumes of cold brew coffee in my Toddy brewer. They work well.

These are terrible, do not buy for your cold brewing system. Buy the Impreza filters. These are some weird polyester material, and weave is too large. 👎🏻👎🏻

I was all out of my filters and had to order some more. Perfect for what I need.

I love these bags. It is easier to make my cold brew. The gotcha is when you take the ground out let the bag drip over the toddy maker. I forgot that the bag is free flow and got cold brew everywhere.

I agree with lots of the reviews that they seem to be durable and less likely to tear that the Toddy brand bags. But they don’t filter as well. Using the same beans in the same grind setting I have much more solids/sludge in the bottom of my coffee after passing through the filter.

I started out with a 64-Oz Mason Jar and the filter that came with it (in fact have two 64-oz jars now; my two sons & I both drink cold brew). Worked well for a time, but then that filter gets clogged up with resins & oils and doesn't let the water permeate through; you end up with a much lower yield of coffee for a given amount of water. So I investigated some other permanent filters and couldn't find one that I really liked (have since tried one that I didn't like, won't go into that here). I found the Tezpak disposable filters and tried them. I use two for the 64-oz jar (water:coffee ratio of 6:1), leave it in the refrigerator for 16 hours and the coffee comes out great-bold, dark and strong, with great flavor.
