An oscillating tool is a must-have if you are a DIYer. Anyone who has used one knows that you can go through blades quickly. This set of 50 at approximately $1 per blade makes that reality a little less painful. There are a couple tips I’d like to share: First of all, when making your first cut on wood, plastic, or drywall, don’t “plunge” on the first pass. Instead, use the corner of the blade, ie, hold it at an angle, to score your cut. (On thicker wood, you might want to do this a second time.) After you’ve made your score, then hold the blade flat against the area you want to cut and do your plunge. This little trick is the difference between a clean edge and one that looks like a mouse chewed on it. The second tip is about cutting metal. This set of blades is not designed for cutting hard steel nails and screws, but you can cut soft metal (such as copper or conduit.) The trick is the old saying, “Slow is fast” — run the blade at a lower speed, and take your time while also slowly moving the blade back and forth. This distributes the inevitable heat that occurs while cutting metal. This not only saves the blade, but also makes for a cleaner cut. Take a break when it gets hot and come back to it later. Finally, oscillating saw blades should be considered consumables. Although these are fairly high quality, at this price, don’t continue to use a blade that should have been tossed into the metal recycling three projects ago!

The blade is stiff which lends to better control and even cuts. Measurement marks help with specific depth goals. The previous blade (shown in image in the foreground) had longer depth but flexed like a diving board.

Excellent value! One of the cheapest prices I’ve seen. Fits perfectly on my Milwaukee M18 oscillating saw. Durability seems decent but I have only had time to use it for several test cuts in wood so far.

This blade worked very well cutting the nails that were in the boards. I cut through about 30 nails and the blade did not seem to have any wear showing. Also, the tip in the directions to rock the oscillating saw seemed to make the cut go more quickly. Since they worked so well, I probably did not need to buy the 50 pack, but now I have many extras.

These all seem to work fine. I don't think they are truly high carbon on the blade surface but they are decent regardless and I haven't had any issues cutting with them. I like the multiples of sizes and they all fit my Dewalt without any issues.
