I have been using Organ brand needles for years and they fit my embroidery machine and my sewing/quilting machine. I use both size 11 and 14. I have undertaken embroidering t shirts for my congregation and did not have the ball point needles. These ball points are stitching well on the t shirts for both a fairly intense front design and lettering on the back. I had some difficulty with another project using a different brand; switched back to Organ and problem was solved.

I have a Brother embroidery machine that has a tantrum anytime I use anything other than Organ brand needles. These stitch perfectly every time.

I was having a serious and time wasting problem with trying to get my embroidery machine to self thread the needle. I tried everything....redoing the entire thread, changing the bobbin and changing the needle. Someone suggested that I try an Organ needle instead and that was the best advice ever. In one quick second my machine self threaded this needle. I'm a believer. I won't use any other type of needle in my machine. For reference I have a single needle machine.

My order arrived on time. I do a lot of Baby clothes Embroidery. I needed these ballpoint needles so it won’t cut this thin fabric.

You can pay a more for OEM needles that came with your machine. BUT, often those needles have been rebranded by the machine manufacturer, the original manufacturer is likely Organ. My source is machine dealers in WA, MN, and MT, as well as different trade show vendors. Always check with your dealer to insure needle brand does not void warranty. If you have difficulty with tension, and have completely retreaded your machine, and still have issues, it's likely the needle. If you hear a popping sound, your needle needs changed. These specific needles are ball point, meaning they separate the fabric to make a stitch. Ball point work best on knits or fabric snags or runs. Sharps pierce the fabric and work best on wovens. Universal work on most fabric.Needle size is opposite of thread size. Smaller needle number, finer the needle. If thread is breaking increase needle size.Happy sewing.

Extremely impressed with the quality of these needles, and delighted that they came in the packaging shown in the photo (paper sleeves and foil insert) instead of the sealed plastic pouches you tear open that I got from another listing. They are significantly better quality and easier to open than the other style of packaging.
