Worked surprisingly well, only complaint would be the circle could be a bit stronger as mine broke under a bit of strain so it could be enforced otherwise it fit in both drains with relative ease unlike some other and did an incredibly good job with the clog.

The velcro works so much better than the plastic prongs, and they don’t break leaving a worse clog! So worth the buy.

Also kind of messy to use also. There is not much control when using this.

Works as advertised. Cleared the shower clog. Needed the extra length, other's that I had ordered here were too wound tight from the factory and too short.

This snake is so small and simple, but you get what you pay for. It did not seem like it could help with any type of clog, I don't think it was a good option.

Not easy to feed all the way in the drain, but works well once it gets in there.

Love the drainsoon! Fit into my kitchen sink drain with a minimal amount of work. I moved into my place 5 years ago. Sink always ran a bit slow, kept using draino and it helped a bit until it finally clogged completely. Cranked it a good 12 times clockwise and pulled out all 7 straws and gunk. Water immediately went down. I guess previous owners though straws would go down. Drainsoon saved me from opening the pipes or calling a plumber.

I used this on my rv black tank and it didn't work well. I did a better job by sticking a water hose into the pipe and flushing the tank out

I purchased a few tools to get a clog out and this one did the trick. It is easy to use and has a long cable. The cable is sturdy enough to push, yet flexible enough to navigate the bends (Another auger I tried was not flexible enough, or the head was not round enough to go past all the bends). I also tried the air compressor type, but in its defense I think the clog was too far in.

Definetly saved me some dollars as my last option was to call a plumber. My kitchen drain was clogged and I tried everything : Siphon, Chemical product, Vinegar and baking soda; nothing did the trick. I used this and now it's finally unclogged. Read the instructions because the first time I tried it I was using it wrong. After reading the instructions I was able to go all the way to 25 ft deep. Absolutely worth it.

I bought this to clear a plumbing vent stack. It's tough enough to survive falling off the roof of a bungalow! The end of the cable wasn't securely attached inside the mechanism and I almost lost it down the pipe. I'll be adding some paint a couple of feet from the end of the wire as a visual warning that the end is near.

My reason for purchasing:I live on the first floor of a six floor apartment complex, so the water pipes of the different apartments are all connected. Now while I am careful and don't dump materials or food down my sink drains, I can't control what the other people in this apartment complex throw down there sinks. This past year alone (especially since the pandemic and people staying home more) I started having frequent clogged drain issues. The blockage got so bad that the water from my kitchen sink was popping up in the bathroom sink. I was getting sick of spending so much cash on drain cleaning products, and plumbers. After I observed enough plumbers and noticed what they did seemed to help out the most, I decided to try do it myself and bought this 25ft Drainsoon Plumber Snake. What arrived:The 25ft Drainsoon Plumber Snake package comes with a Drainsoon user guide, Drainsoon glove bag, gloves, 25ft 1/4" drain snake cable, and the Drainsoon Professional Drum Auger. (You can generally see the stuff in the pictures I provided. Minus the length of the snake cable which is inside the drum, but trust me after using it is definitely 25ft in length.)About me:I am not a person who does handy work or knows anything about the plumbing system. However, reading the instructions in the user guide (and watching a how to video online) I was able to unclog my sinks no problem. How to use:I put the gloves on that were provided. Then removed the drain cover from my sink. Then I loosened the thumbscrew on the Drainsoon Drum Auger and pulled out about 6inch of the snake cable and then tightened the thumbscrew. Slowly I pushed the cable in the drain, then I repeatedly loosened the thumbscrew and pulled another 6inch of the cable tightening the thumbscrew.I started turning the drum of the Drainsoon Drum Auger to insert the snake cable into the drain slowly and offer a bit of cleaning action as the snake cable went down the drainpipe. Turning the drum also helped me get the snake cable into and past the swivel P-trap and drain elbow of the sink. To do this I learned you really need to have a lot of patience, and time. I kept redoing this until it stopped and couldn't be inserted any further. Then to reinsert the snake cable into the Drainsoon Drum Auger, I simply loosened the thumbscrew pulling the cable out of the drain 6inch at a time and tightening the thumbscrew. I kept turning the drum, as well as cleaning the snake cable with water and a wipe before reinserting back it into the drum. After I was done my sink were finally working properly again.Questions:Is this product worth purchasing?YES! "Clean a clogged drain soon" on the user guide says it all. The 25ft Drainsoon Plumber Snake is easy to use and does the job of clearing out the blockage in clogged drains. The user guide really provides great detail in directions, and offers safety advice as well. Plus, you can also find helpful videos online if you need more.Do you need to use the gloves?YES. The snake cables are greasy and you never know what kind of gunk can be coming out of your pipes. Can the snake cable fall off?Yes. There is a "Notice & Saftey" section in the user guide that let's you know that the cable is not anchored to the drum. This is why I kept loosening and tightening the thumbscrew frequently, and only removed 6inch of cable at a time. You just have to be careful and also read all the instructions before using. Otherwise the cable can fall off while in the pipes, then you will definitely need a professional plumber. What is this product for?Note this product is really only for use in kitchen sinks, bathroom sinks, tubs and shower drains. It is not for toilets or any plastic pipes.
