I normally purchase bolts like these in a 5/16-18 x 3/4 size. I like the pre-installed washer that doesn't fall off when you are working with them.I decided to try the 1/4-20 x 7/8 size since the project was installing inner fender splash guards on a vehicle and my normal 5/16-18 seemed a little bit overkill for this project. These fasteners worked great and have a nice clean look to the install as well.

Used for body bolts on my dirt modified. Work great, and cheaper than the specialty race shops charge. Only found 1 bolt out of 50 that had bad threads, so not terrible.

Nice quality bolts. 41 bolts were 7/16" hex head 1/4-20 while 9 were is 5/16" hex head 1/4-28. All appear to be 7/8" long. It didn't matter to me since I only needed a few for my project.
