Used these with thin barn wood. We pre-drilled holes in the wood and then tacked these nails in gently to avoid splitting the wood. Looks very authentic & we are pleased.

These worked well for a few little builds. Be forewarned, these nails are sharp. If you aren't wearing work boots and you leave one on the floor, it will pierce your shoe if you step on it!

They're little black, old timey looking nails/tacks. The best part is that I was able to match the old ones I had, that I just didn't have enough off. A little spendy, but when you can't find what you need you're willing to pay the price.

We used these nails on a custom Spanish-style walnut built-in. The piece was beautiful on it's own, but once these nails were put on, the piece was complete (just like frosting on a cake). They are the perfect accent for anything that merits a rustic accent. They are small and subtle when used sparingly. They look very authentic. We predrilled a small hole for each nail and then hammered them in with a rawhide mallet so we didn't scratch the finish. Definitely recommended - 100%! We've already ordered our second bag of nails for the next project :)
