I struggled for many fruitless hours trying to remove the flywheel from a Kohler K582 engine out of a 47 year old Bobcat 520 skid steer. I soaked the shaft with fancy rust dissolving oil. I made special brackets for a screw type puller. I heated the flywheel with a torch. I cursed and pounded it with a hammer. And it laughed in my face as I walked away in defeat. Then I bought this puller, carefully set it up, and popped the flywheel off in six or seven pumps - half an hour after it was delivered. Sheesh!

It's a nice product, it works, but you need to know how to use it well and professionalism is required. You need to be good at using 3 hook legs and if you do it well, it will work.

Great product very powerful it is a little difficult to operate it in some situation of one person it is best to have someone to help you to position the Pooler but I have stubborn seas rotors and this thing puppet release in 10 seconds amazing quality is decent you have to be gentle with it this is not the product that you be rough with it and handle it roughly you take care of it you shouldn't have any problem very powerful overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and I do recommend it especially for DIY mechanic you must have one.

Had a stuck brake drum on my tractor that would not come off any other way. I tried a three jaw plier, PB Blaster, impact hammer, and heat. Nothing worked. Then, I read the reviews on this product and thought I would give it a try. Worked great. The seller was responsive to my questions, and followed through to make sure that I was okay with the product. Big help.

I pulled off the driver side wheel hub assembly and it was the most difficult job I've faced so far. I had to replace the cv axle, wheel hub and ball joint with pretty food damage to the steering knuckle just to get the hub detached. I rented a puller at oriellys and that was pointless, I purchased an air hammer that was also pointless. This thing took several hours of hitting with a sledgehammer, torching and cutting and was a complete nightmare. So after a week I decided to give the passenger side a try but didn't want to experience that again so I looked around and stumbled on this hydraulic press. This thing is an absolute beast, I know it probably wasn't the same difficulty as the drivers side but this was off in just a few pumps with this press. This saved me so much time and energy and would highly recommend this to anyone. The assembly is a little unclear on the instructions but it's not to hard to figure out. It is pretty heavy so balance and lock on the hub do extra hands helps a lot. But let me tell you again, this thing is well worth the money spent on it, especially if you have to do more than one. I can't wait to replace the rear ones just to use this again! If you are on the fence, just pull the trigger and get this bad boy!

I have an x5 that comes where it snows, I had to replace the wheel hubs that was literally welded by rust, and with this tool I just had to put it on, start pumping 2 or 3 times and hit the wheel hub with a hammer, and so on until it was free with no more effort than just pumping and hitting a little. GOOD VERY HEAVY TOOL. I can't said the same with the case where it is stored since the opposite of the tool, is very light and delicate. Also the knob to open and close the hydraulic is very pronounced and you can feel how delicate it is, so I have to be very careful when handling the hydraulic so as not to break it. but in functionality, so far I think it was a good buy.

I was going to video me the other night using this puller on a sprocket from a drive end/exit end conveyor in a car wash, but I guess I missed hitting the “red record” button and there was nothing. It would have been a very short video I can tell you that. In fact, it took more time, I’d say three times longer, to assemble the puller then it did to pull that sprocket off the hydraulic motor shaft. It was friggin’ AMAZING! No more hitting it with a sledge hammer to jar it a little loose before starting or even better, no more cranking your 1/2” drive ratchet over and over and over until it finally grabs and pulls it, if it ever does. This puller has performed outstanding on removing sprockets and bearings that for one are hard enough to remove from anything after a long while, but in a car wash environment, where water, dirt, slime and sludge are a constant,.....it Kicks A** !!!All that said, the parts in the puller could have been made more better and specific to this tool, like the bolts and nuts that hold the puller arms (they tend to tighten up or loosen up as your using the tool), or the really flimsy case it comes in (it won’t last a year for me). Those are they only issues I have with this puller and the fact that it does the job so well, I almost didn’t mention them. Love this puller.
