I've had problems with stack folders on my desktop--nothing is quickly accessible. This organizer is the perfect answer. It is very solid and easily holds several folders, making them easy to identify and access.I found assembly to be straightforward.

In no particular order, let me state the reasons why this is a terrible product.It comes unassembled, which is not a big deal but when the assembly is near impossible then it’s a big deal.Several pieces of the metal were bent making assembly impossible.The space in which you assemble it (between the metal files where the hole is supposed to screw on to the metal plate at the bottom) is SO SMALL, that even I with small hands could barely manage.Pieces are bent and will not lie flush on the metal plate so installation is not possible. A few worked, majority did not.The bolts that connect the plate to the files are again, SO SMALL, that they do screw into the piece it is supposed to go into therefore it won’t secure it.The type of bolt you receive requires the L shaped Allen wrench it comes with which is so hard to work with in that small space. A Philips screwdriver would have been so much better.Then there is the problem of the holes are not fabricated correctly on a few of the pieces to match up to the plate to get the bolt in therefore rendering the file useless.What a disaster!!! Get your fabrication right or send them out assembled!

As advertised comes with base and three pieces with screws and a Alan wrench - no problem clean-up.

This desk file organizer is both functional and easy to assemble. The clean mesh design fits well in my office environment. It comes as a two-pack, so plenty of storage capacity. Each organizer consists of three compartments that screw onto the base; note that the spaces between these compartments are very slightly narrower than the compartments themselves, which is useful but worth mentioning if you expect all sections to be exactly equal in width. Overall, it’s a handy organizing tool, especially when used with file folders, as individual sheets of paper may lack the stiffness to stand upright effectively.

These two upright desk organizers transformed my messy stacks of papers, folders, and notebooks into neat and orderly open storage space. The assembly took a few minutes because the screws are rather small (but secure fasteners) for my large old hands. The instruction sheet that accompanies the product is simple to understand. There are two separate hardware packs containing 7 screws (6 plus 1 spare), an Allen Wrench, and 4 clips that serve as "feet" to protect the desk surface.An excellent organizer for the home office.

Sturdy construction. Simple parts.The instructions say that the bottom piece should have he ends curved up. If you do that, then it will end up having the screws touching the surface it rests on. I put the ends to curve down, which give space for the screws so they don't damage the surface.When you do it that way, then it works well.
