I had high hopes for this because for $40, the price is a little expensive for a bed cover type of item. When I received it, I realized this is the same generic, made in China, polyester coverlet that's all over Amazon. There is nothing wrong with the material, its durable polyester with a machine laser engraved pattern. The laser engraving mimics intricate hand quilt from afar, and unless you look a feet up close, it just looks like a regular quilt.However, I have 3 other bed covers of exactly the same material and laser engraving. Although they are not "day bed coverlets" and are just regular twin bedcovers, the square footage are the same. And they all cost no more than $20 a set, and $20 are the standard market price for them. This one has 3 extra pillowcases, but otherwise the square footage for the main piece are the same. I can only say because it's a day bed cover and more of a unique item, the markup is much higher. But 2X as much? That's way too high of a markup to me.Otherwise the material is inexpensive, the manufacturing is inexpensive (its machine made in huge quantities) and the finish is average (there are loose threads you have to cut off).I believe this is overpriced for its product category and not competitive for the market. Also, in the daybed category this is missing a traditional bed skirt. All US brands includes a bed skirt. The only time a daybed set does not include one are the made in China sets, and for some reason they always tend to cut corners somewhere.

This daybed set is just...nice. It's exactly as described, fits perfectly, and looks good. No complaints at all. A solid and reliable 5-star purchase
