I work 911 as a paramedic and one of the issues I have treating patients on scene or in the ambulance is having to hang fluids or medications in random places. I have carried a carabiner for years but the main issue is trying to swap out fluids without removing the whole clip and still do it one handed. Well the carabiner has now been replaced with this double ended snap and I have it clipped to the spot the carabiner once hung. I can now clip to whatever is in reach and still have the lower clip to hang my IV. Since I now I have 5 of them I plan on giving a few to coworkers to try and toss one in the toolbox and one in my van. These are well made, heavy, and the spring has enough stiffness to hopefully keep from random openings. Time will tell but it's worth the risk of less then a few dollars per snap. Recommended purchase.

Double end snaps feel heavy duty and the sliding lock button works great. Feels like a heavy duty spring inside but not sure how well it will work if left out in the elements. Might have to oil it up periodically for it not to get rusted over. I use the ones I have for a small dog fence that we use around a fire pit. It’s to keep the grandkids from getting burned on the pit.I also use it for my fence door I keep my chicks behind. I clasp one side on the fence and the other side of the clasp to a hard point attached to the other of the fence. Works great! Happy times

Buckets, gates, latches and chains all utilize a snap and a heavy duty one at that. We use so many snaps around here and I need ones that work well and are strong enough to stand up to a big old cow.This is a double snap with really good reflex that holds tight and is easily opened with one hand. Heavy duty with a nice finish but the best part of this order is the great price. These run about half what I normally pay and they are above average quality.
