I haven't tested the metal, but I have over loaded them and they held up!Threads and workman ship all seem good.Decently priced for what they are and even better if they are truly stainless.Overall 4.5 stars!

These are really good heavy duty screw hooks, they screw in tightly, look shiny and nice - Work great, No problems!

These arrived in a Ziploc bag. They are exactly what I expected. Pre-drilling into a 4 x 4 makes these very easy to install as the pointy end is very sharp. These are nice sturdy hooks that work well for trellising blackberry plants. I have been using hooks like this for years without issue. This is a nice set of hooks at a price much better than the big box stores.

I’m working on a project to declutter my workshop and eye hooks are a great addition for getting things off the workbench and organized properly on the walls. Of course, these have many other uses and I’ve used them in the past for hanging Christmas lights from soffits (they fit nicely in the soffit holes without damaging them).These eye hooks are a good “medium” sized 2 ½ inches and seem thick and sturdy enough to be able to hand screw them into wood without pre-drilling and as well carry a good amount of weight. The finish is stainless steel.

Tested with magnet. No stick so these look and behave like stainless. Decent stainless hooks for light duty use. I'd guess, fine for hanging stuff that weighs 2 pounds or less (guess!). Definitely don't go 5 pounds. I use for tarp hooks on outdoor shed applications.
