Work as expected. Will not fit really long jaws. They do wear out after repeated use.

Knipex pliers are very hard and sharp. They will bite into just about anything. I figured these would be useful for situations where I don't want to damage the surface of the part I'm manipulating. However, I found these jaw protectors to be lacking for several reasons:1. They're too thin. The pliers bite right through.2. They're too slippery. The pliers won't grab with these attached. Which causes you to squeeze harder, and bite through. See number 1.3. They're expensive! Next time I'll just cut some pieces of rubber hose. That will work better for a lot less money.

These fit the Cobras well but if your work requires you to really squeeze hard, the jaws will cut right through these.
