Easy to solder. Be careful to inset the pins square into the body. Use a arbor press and associated fixture for the greatest insert- removal durability. Passes 35 amps without heating using 10 gauge wire.

Nice having make and female extras. After ordering a battery with the wrong connection this fit the bill, just know you will have to solder the connectors on so knowledge there is suggested

The housing is too tight and impossible to he the connector inside. You can't even get 1mm inside the housing

Takes some practice. Don't bother with a soldering gun though... Use a pencil torch and flux is totally needed! Fits the bill, but takes some practice if you've never soldered anything this large.

Had a bunch of lipo battery packs I wanted to swap to ec5 connectors and these work great. Solid build, comes with all the connectors you need. Plastic doesn't melt unless you put your solder directly on the plastic so it's durable. Easy to install on my packs, they work well and now I don't have to use an adapter so I can run these lipo's.

These turned a 5 minute job into over an hour and even then, it is 50/50 based on your skills, problem solving, and a lot of patience. Once you are done soldering and need to get the bullets into the connector, they simply do not go in no matter how hard you try or try to even hammer them in with a use of a little screw driver. I tried to file the hole in the connector a bit which worked perfectly for one, but ended up being to much for the other which then had nothing to grip on and would slide out the other side. I had to start all over. This time I filed very little and used a heat gun prior to hammering the darn things in the connector and it worked on one battery and one connector of another which again I had to start over on the other. Cheap, not to the correct tolerances, junk!!! I bought these after buying a bunch by another brand so you will see this review for the other brand shortly. I think they all come off the same line in China.

Excellent quality, good value for EC5 connectors.It comes with 5 complete sets, including 5mm gold bullet. Big enough to fit 10 gauge wire perfectly.Please note, you snap the bullets in place from the front of the connector. Put your wire through the back of the connector, solder the 5mm bullet then push it down into the connector. You will have to use quite a bit of force to snap it in, I used a screw driver and a small mallet to do it.Once properly snapped in place, the end of the bullet should be 2-3 mm recessed from where the blue EC5 connector ends. If it sits flush, then you didn't snap it in place correctly.
