Best combs period for dogs with hair and not fur.I am a Lhasa apso breeder. I have a breed with hair and not fur. It is also a breed that gets a lot of snarls as human hair does. And of course my little guy's love finding every burdock plant on the property. And rolling in unmentionable items.I have probably tried every brush known to man to keep up with their gorgeous hair. And we often keep keep them in a puppy cut just so that when we go outside for walks and stuff they can be more playful and not worry so much about getting stuff in their hair. I want my dogs to live not just exist.I came across these one day, not because I had fleas, but because I was looking for a fine tooth comb. These are fantastic! I mean if you had fleas they definitely would work for that as well. As they are fine tooth enough to pull fleas out. But I got them just because I needed something fine tooth for picking out snarls, for working out little burdock fibers, and for working through their ears. Which are long and beautiful and snarl really badly on the underside if you can't work the whole area through.I love the price point. These things are so inexpensive that I don't even feel like I am wasting money if I have to throw one away because I had to work out a particularly bad snarl and end up bending the tines.They come in a bunch of colors, but I like the blue ones because I like things to look the same when I put them on the shelf. Kind of weird. Lol. But that's me.You would think being this small that they would kind of be hard to hold. And I do have smaller hands. I did end up buying a bigger one with an actual handle on it for when my husband helps groom dogs. Because his hands are much larger and these are a little bit small for him to work with. But my daughters and myself use these regularly and they are wonderful. I cannot recommend these more and if I could give 10 stars I would. These have made my dog breeding so much better. They float through the puppy's hair. They float through the mama dog's hair. My boys are kept nice and groomed and it just makes their hair sit so beautifully against their skin. It makes for more comfortable dogs, it makes for a more beautiful uniform look. And everybody is happy. I cannot recommend these enough.

Fleas are a nonstop issue for old houses built on blocks with lots of squirrels around. So these little combs save my poor kitties from the nuisance of the little buggers. Definitely a safer alternative flea poison and the kitties are so silky smooth when the combing is done.

They're just basic flea combs. The teeth are not sharp and they fit nicely in your hand. Easy way to keep fleas to a minimum without pesticides in indoor cats.

I had gotten some of these for free with a flea collar I had gotten several years ago for some stray cats. I ended up trying it on my own scalp and it work so well I use it every time I take a shower now! It gets all the dead skin that was apparently always on my scalp hiding under my hair. Now I can scrape it all clean every time I shower, and my head feels a lot fresher now than I had ever considered it could feel. The metal teeth have rounded tips, so they don't hurt. I got this pack to start giving to other family members and to have extra ones on hand if needed.

I am so finicky when it comes to flea combs. The teeth must be tight to get the teeny little fleas. These FC’s feel easy to handle while combing through my 3 kitties hair as well as my 2 pups. Both pups do not have shaggy coats, but one pup has very thick fur (Vizsla Fur) and the comb works great. He actually likes when I flea comb him compared to the older flea comb I used which has shorter teeth. Would highly recommend. Cost is extremely reasonable.

this is a great value! Buying one comb at the local pet supply chain was more expensive that these...We adopted a shelter kitten who was daddy to some fleas and before we knew it all of the pets had fleas... so now we brush... and comb and spray and pray these damn fleas go away.The combs are perfect for our cats' hair. They are sturdy and comb smoothly. They dont grab the hair. We have bought a couple of other styles online and these work the best for us on our cats.
