Please do not buy this item. It is faulty. One of the wheels broke with less than 30 hours of use and it almost resulted in body harm and property damage.

These are strong and appear to be good quality. They replaced some old and abused casters. Installed easily and ready for the next job.

I misplaced my wheels for my scaffolding a while back and needed to find new ones now that I waited until the last minute! I found these! They are heavy duty and fits perfectly into the metal tubes with a cotter pin to keep them in. The locks on them keeps the scaffolding in place. They are trustworthy and well worth getting for any mobile project you plan on doing.

This set of wheels is beefy and strong. It is allllmost double locking.The lock lever presses spring steel on three points at the same time. The piece of spring steel against the wheel makes a good friction lock. The two prongs of spring steel that fit into grooves on the swivel housing click into place after a very short spin if they don't click in immediately upon locking. There is still some ability of the square shaft to rotate on its pin through the swivel mechanism, but that is minimal with no weight and I expect it to reduce with weight and be virtually eliminated when all four wheels are in use on a scaffolding.The finish is standard. The wheel seems standard. The plating and metal pieces are all sufficiently deburred to the point of not needing gloves to operate them by hand if you needed to.Overall a good buy for your money. It's a "get the job done" kind of item.

The 1 1/4" square tubing was a perfect fit for the perry scaffolding I purchased at an auction. The wheels are large with heavy duty bearings and they spin smoothly. The locking mechanism works well too. although it does dig into the wheel a bit more that my other wheels do.The holes on the wheel base line up perfectly with the holes in my scaffold and the provided pins hold the wheels in place well.Its about all I could ask for.

...in shops and garages, where a large diameter wheel is helpful in rolling smoothly over less-than-clean-and-smooth floors. I have a set already installed on a workbench, and they work excellently. This set will go onto a long multi-purpose table that can roll out from the summer cottage's workshop-shed onto our patio, when we're entertaining a larger group.I'm sure these casters would be great on scaffolds, too.

A perfect fit for any baker style scaffold. Sturdy, well made, durable materials sure to last the life of the rest of the scaffold. The must have brakes engage easily and hold fast to keep the platform in place while in use. Costing a little less than those at the big box, the quality is not sacrificed. The casters are a good value and a solid buy. I recommend their purchase.
