How to Install Numbers?
1. Clean the area you need, making sure the surface dry, smooth, flat and clean.
2. Tear off the sticker on the back of number.
3. Press it firmly on the position and press and hold for some time.

Bought these 4" numbers to use as house numbers on 6" textured vinyl lap siding. One of the numbers arrived already snapped down the middle, but the break was clean. I knew as soon as they arrived that the very thin included adhesive membrane was not strong enough to hold up to the weather on my textured surface, so I bought 3M VHB ("very high bond") foam tape and used that instead. Cutting it to fit exactly behind the numbers was annoying, but the result is great. With the VHB, I don't expect the fact that one of the numbers is in two pieces to ever be a problem.These numbers are VERY thin, but that's what I wanted, so they wouldn't cast shadows when lit from the side.Be warned that standard white vinyl siding trim is on the yellow or cream side of white, so in comparison this product looks blue-white. If you're very persnickety and placing this next to white trim, you may notice, but otherwise nobody will.Installation tip: plan your spacing in advance. Use a square. Mark the spots on the top and bottom edges of the numbers with pencil so you can erase them later, and write down on a separate piece of paper how far apart the marks should be when installed in order for the numbers to be aligned and spaced correctly. Don't expect to be able to peel the numbers up in order to straighten them.
