Great shorts. Love the color and fit. The moisture wicking material is great, and there are plenty of pockets for hiking or day trips.

I mostly wear stretchy nylon shorts but have problems because I have short legs (26" inseam) and most shorts tend to go past my knees. These are the perfect length for me, hitting just above the knee.I like the waistband as well. It's stretchy and can be cinched down using the drawstring, but it also has belt loops if you choose to use them. The drawstring is intended to be removed and is easily put back in which I've never seen before. It's usually a royal pain to install drawstrings on shorts. It also has a zipper fly, so the shorts won't look weird (much) if you choose to wear a belt with them.The zippers on the front pockets are a touch irritating, but they're useful if you choose to wear these shorts in the water, which they're intended to do, so no points lost there.The biggest negative is the back pocket. First of all, there's only one back pocket and it arrives mostly sewn shut for some reason. It also doesn't have a zipper, like the front pockets do, which seems strange.Bottom line: If I could give these shorts 4.5 stars, I would. The sewn shut right back pocket that's lacking any kind of closure and the totally absent back left pocket are the negatives for me. But these really have become my favorite pair of shorts and I'll probably purchase more in other colors. Recommended.

So, I ordered these for my husband. Paying attention to sizing, we ordered the XL. They are just a bit large on him, but because they are more of an athleisure short and not a dress short, a bit baggy is ok for him.The color is spot on. The shorts are of nice quality and are indeed soft and lightweight. That will be really nice on those hot Texas summer days! The pockets are well made and deep enough to hold whatever it is that he wants to stuff in them. The hidden zipper pocket easily fits a bi or tri fold wallet. Nice security option there!The elastic waist makes them all the more comfortable, and because they are just a bit big on hubby - he likes it that he can take them on and off without unbuttoning - bonus, I guess. The shorts can accommodate those that like either a belt or drawstring. I've already had the opportunity to wash and dry the shorts. Washed on cool/warm water and tumble dried on normal. They laundered well, and with no wrinkles! Overall, they were a hit here.

The material feels silky synthetic but is very comfortable, lightweight, and soft with some spandex stretch. The length sits above the knee and just below mid-thigh. I went for the dark khaki of the half dozen color options, and it looks just like the product photo. The elastic waist has a drawstring to adjust fit. The drawstring can be pulled inside the shorts so it's not seen from the outside. I usually wear a large, and the fit is just right on me.I wish the two side pockets had a little more room. The back pocket is sewn shut on arrival and I'll need to cut the thread holding it closed. I wish one of the pockets had a zipper to secure a wallet.The material, fit, and stretchiness are well suited for bending and movement. I can wear these on a hike, workout class, gardening, or even for a swim.
