Lichi Finish

Star finish ( CSP 2-3 Roughness)

The finish made by star roller is finer than the lichi finish, the finish is similar to CSP 2-3 roughness. Each star roller has 2 blades, made of tungsten material.

Star type finish

Lichi finish (CSP 4-5 Roughness)

The lichi finish made by cone shape lichi roller is the most coarse finish we have, the roughness similar to CSP 4-5. It is used for surface texturing or to remove heavy coating. This finish is mostly seen outdoors to have antislip effect.

Sandblast finish

Sandblast finish ( CSP 1 Roughness)

The sandblast finish is made by knurling roller, each roller has 312 pcs teeth. This finish is the finest finish, the roughness similar to csp 1, mostly seen indoors for stairs and washroom floors.

Functions & Operation Warning

Functions

1. Floor Texturing: They create a bush-hammered profile on concrete, ideal for creating anti-slip surfaces.

2. Floor Prep: They can help to increase bonding effectiveness when applying new concrete to an existing concrete surface by increasing the surface area of the bonding zone.

3. Coating Removing: Bush Hammer is applied for deep floor pulverization, especially when you expect to peel off the thick surfaces such as thick coatings, very elastic coverings, asphalt, ceramic thin-set, sanded grout, and so on, and when you expect to quickly and evenly expose aggregates

Warings

1. Working Speed under 1000 RPM. Not recommended for high rpm angle grinder, suggested to install bush hammer on speed adjustable angle grinder, such as makita9227CB/ 9237CB polisher, speed less than 1000 RPM suggested. 30pins bush hammer roller not suggested for three phase walkbehind grinder, too much pressure can break the bearings inside the roller. For three phase grinder, please use the 45 pins bush hammer roller.

2. Do not apply too much pressure on bush hammer. This will prevent roller from stopping and thus decrease the life span of the carbide tips.

3. Adjusting the plates distance for different finish. For double plates bush hammer, we can adjust the distance between two plates to have finer or rougher finish. Enlarge the distance can have rougher finish, on the contrary, finish finer if narrowing the distance.

4. After each use, please clean up rollers, dry and apply oil to the spindles. It will be ideal to submerge the rollers in oil to prevent spindle rust Roller tips can be re-dressed with diamond blades when they become inefficient.

If you’re using this to finish stone buy replacement bearings immediately. They don’t last long under the strain and deteriorate with the dust from the process.
