I just got these. The adapter fit my vacuum hose perfectly (threaded) and it attached to the saw end connector perfectly!

I purchased the Quick-Connect Power Tool Hose Kit on line and quickly discovered that it was lacking in having enough ports for my tools. On my next visit to the Rockler store almost 3 weeks later, I purchased what I hoped would be enough ports and adapters. A few days later I purchased the Auxiliary Kit on line. I finally had almost all the Quick-Connect parts that I needed. During this process, Rockler kept introducing additional ports, etc. that I needed, but not everything. Luckily I has a plethora of hose connectors, etc. that I had accumulated previously that I was able to adapt. I also used some of the quick-connect ports in ways they were not designed for. I also discovered that the Bench Brush, although a quick-connect component, was very difficult to disconnect. Another component, the flexible crevice tool would not quick-connect, but still worked well with a pressure connection. I also had to use some 2.5” hose clamps and 2.5” Rubber unions to connect parts of the system. I ended up with a system that every tool had a permanent quick connect adapter to connect the blue hose to.

These attachments are great. No more tape and plumbing fittings. Definitely need to get more, and a hose.

Absolute atrocious quality on the plastic parts of the connectors. The air relief valve has no detents or positive locking, so it just spins whenever it likes. The actual 'quick connect' ring would probably last a day or two of connecting to different tools before it snapped, just poor, poor quality. A great idea and I really need something like this, but this definitely isn't it. Would cause way more aggravation than it's worth.

I can finally use my computer cleaning accessories with my Milwaukee M18 portable shop vac. Milwaukee decided to use a non-standard size for their hose end (the basic nozzle) that I couldn’t use my small nozzle adapter with it. This kit even supports all the other larger shop vac accessories as well.

I'm not exactly sure how to use these. What are the blue collars used for? Why are the ends of some threaded, but not others? What is this piece? What is that piece? There are absolutely no instructions to speak of. I guess they're useful if they happen to just fit your shop vac/power tool, but it looks like there's more to them than just that and instructions would make a world of difference as to knowing how to use these. Certain parts click into place with others, but I don't know why. NO INSTRUCTIONS!
