Needed to get a set of picks to get close to the firewall in a '08 Chevy Silverado to replace an oil pressure sensor that had failed. These picks were just what was needed to remove the old filters and replace with a new filter. Saved a ton of time and a ton of money!

This is a simple 4 piece pick set that is very inexpensive. Picks are always handy to have around and I broke my last set so these are to replace them. There is absolutely nothing wrong with these ones. They are built plenty strong enough with metal shafts and plastic handles. Sure they are not the highest quality but they will get you the most bang for your buck. And being orange they are difficult to lose.Overall I am completely satisfied with this pick set and I highly recommend them.

These sets are one of those things you don't know you need them until you do. If you don't have these then get a set and hang on to them. Eventually you'll be in a situation where you need to poke or pull something small or pry something that is in a tight spot. Then you'll say... I have something that should work and go get these and use the one that looks right. I usually use the hook to pry and or hook and pull. Usually it is when I'm working on a car but you never know when they'll come in handy.

This set of picks and hooks is basic, but that is all you need. They are well-made and strong. The set is complete with all the tools you will need for many jobs. I like that the tip on all four comes to a sharp point. That is needed in many situations with these tools. The only reason I called them basic is that the handle ends do not spin very well. I popped them off and added a drop of oil, and they are great now.

Always handy to have a pick available for an assortment of uses around the workshop and garage. I had a small set that was much cheaper that did not hold up (and which maybe I abused).For the price, this is a very nice pick set, with 4 different ends depending on the application you need it for. Maybe not professional quality, but pretty good and more than good enough for most homeowners and weekend warriors. Plastic handles, but bright orange which helps to see it after you lay it down.Overall, a very nice set well worth the price.
