Works perfect for my grandson, plus when we play hockey in the house with them they don't hit anything too hard.

These are very lightweight and work very well. They are really handy for shooting practice and stick handling as well.

First bullet point in the product description says these are regulation in size and weight, specifically stating they weigh 6 ounces. As the images I've included clearly show, they are definitely NOT 6 oz., not even if you put all four of them together. I got these thinking they would be good for training with, but as light as they are, I don't see myself using them for anything meaningful. Maybe they'll be fun to throw at friends and see them duck if they think they're real. Otherwise, they were a waste. I definitely wouldn't buy them again.

I have a couple of decent sized area of synthetic ice that I can drop in my living room for some quick stick handling practice. While actual regulation pucks glide ok (not like ice though) they get a little dangerous with breakables around. I switched to a foam style but honestly they don't react the same as a puck would and easily pop up on edge. I had no good solution until I tired out this brand and in Goldilocks voice "these are just right". The coating has a sheen unlike most matt style foam pucks. Works on both synthetic surface and great on hardwood. Even bigger bonus, you can toss these outside and fire off some pretty hard shots with them. Edges are textured to replicate authentic pro pucks. If you're over foam pucks flipping up on your or sticking, you'll be stoked to give these a go.

I ordered these with the intention that the red would be easier to see in the yard when my child practices shooting. For that purpose, yes, they are easy to see. He also says that they slide nicely and are actually good for sliding in the house on hard wood floors. However, I admit that I missed where it said that these were a soft, light-weight foam -- and I assume it was my error to not have realized that based on the weight in the description. However, with all the numerous places stating NHL Official Size (yep, it is the right size) and meeting international standards, and good for rink play, I made the wrong assumption that these were actual firm game-weight pucks. It was definitely my oversight, however, it didn't seem to state this outright. So, these pucks are great for indoor practice because they are nice and soft; they are easy to see in the yard (so not going to get lost as easily); and my son says they slide well. However, they are very light-weight are not game-weight pucks in any way. They are not going to be good for practice shots, but more for puck handling practice indoors.

Not able to use it unless on a slippery surface. All foam no weight to them.

My daughter uses these inside daily. They are definitely softer than real pucks, as my furniture can attest, and bounce off most things. They have seen plenty of use so far and I expect they will see a great deal more.

Great as a fun stress reliever. I used mine as a custom pair for my boyfriend. They're not easy to paint tho so I wouldn't recommend it
