I have purchased a few aftermarket Chromecast remotes. They feel cheap but with this on it, they feel great. I also like the fact that they have a variety of colors and including 2 that glow in the dark. Since cutting the cable, we installed a Chromecast on every TV. I know must TVs are smart TVs and don't need it but a few of the older family members at home are not tech savvy but have no issues using Chromecast. Each room has its own color cover so we know what TV each remote is for.

I got these to use on my new non-OEM chromecast remotes. I just had to replace 2 of the remotes. We always used to misplace the remote and I thought this case would help make them more identifiable and less slippery, and it does.I have a photo of the glow blue case while glowing. It glows for a while after exposed to light.The only drawback to these is it changes how the remote feels, the buttons are now sunken instead of sticking out, so it is just different since I mostly use the remote by feel at night. The volume buttons are covered with silicone buttons on the case, and they work fine. I have gotten used to the change in feel pretty quickly.

I own multiple Google TV devices and I have 6 remotes in total for the various devices. All of them have cases on them also from different manufacturers than this oneI tried these cases in hopes I could get some matching colors and make it easier to identify which remote for which deviceThese covers are garbage. Very close to 1 star. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is because they are affordable and technically do work although I worry at what cost to the remoteThe holes are cut WRONG. And do not properly line up with the buttons. Some buttons are ok but about half have some form of the silicone covering them. The silicone is also thick and you sort of have to push your finger down the hole to press the buttons. I'm worried the silicone is compressing the buttons that it is covering and will damage them over time. Even if that doesn't occur, it still looks bad and also makes it harder to hit the buttonsThe price is low but the quality is quite bad. I would look elsewhere and I would not recommend

The Chromecast remote is just too small and awkward and this adds a little bit of bulk and lets you find it in the dark because it blows in the dark. The Little lanyard helps as well if you drop it. All the colors look really nice but I chose the light blue.
