Excellent set for a diyer or light trade use. The tools are small, which initially was a bit disappointing but I was using them to de slate a large roof and was using them 8 hrs a day for a couple of weeks. I found their lightweight to be a benefit to a non construction worker. The small pry bar and hammer were particularly useful for removing the nails carefully. All tools in the set have earnt their place in my tool bag and are used for many more things than their initial purchase intent.Strong buy.

Running away smaller tools like maybe 6 to 8 inches worked awesome for the job. None of them broke.

I save a lot of scrap wood for my workshop, and have to pry the pieces apart and remove nails. I got sick of using just my old hammer and cats paw so I got these. They make the job so much easier and faster, with a lot less cursing. With 3 different sizes and 3 ways to pull nails on each, they make the job a breeze. They’re nice and solid, feel great in the hand, and will last years. Haven’t used the chisel yet, but it’s there when I need it. And I will.

Handy set of four pry bars. If you're in need of a set of prybars, this kit is a good starter set giving you several tools to assist with demolition/renovation. The two pry bars that look the same, but are sized differently and great for using leverage on the tougher fasteners where there is room to move and the opposite end is great for getting into tighter spots and separating things. The pry bar with a hammer is handy when you're trying to remove a nail and it breaks, so you can flip the tool over and bang the nail in to prevent damage/injuries. Lastly, the straight pry bar is good for removing trim that you would like to reuse or separating things that are stuck together, but not necessarily with a fastener. Nice and solid tools with comfortable handles and protective rubber tips. Good addition to any toolbox.

I am impressed with this set of pry bar tools. The combo-hammer/crowbar has a magnet to hold nails (see pic). The chisel is great for getting a gap between wood pieces to make it easier to insert either the large or small pry bars. The hammer and chisel have a very comfortable hard rubber hand grip. The pry bars have rubber caps to protect the edges.Testing: I decided on a heavy-duty test for these. I have an old freight pallet in the basement that I intended for the woodstove (someday). If you have ever tried to deconstruct a freight pallet, you know how hard it is – super hard wood, twisted nails, massive stables, etc. Using the hammer and chisel, I was able to open a sufficient gap for the large pry bar. With a lot of effort, I was able to disassemble a few pieces. The pry bars withstood the prying tension very well. (I will use my power saw to cut up the rest of it now – this was a test of the strength of the chisel and pry bar metal.)I am very satisfied with this order.Note: I find it interesting that crowbar is one word and pry bar is two words…smiles.
