As this is advertised for "polishing" sets and not sanding sets, I can't beat this up too much for being a bit flimsy. However, you do have to be careful when changing the paper out on the smaller ones. The hinge pins aren't very strong and it's easy to break when fitting the new paper. The bigger boards are better quality and have little adjustment knobs to tighten the paper up when you've got it loaded. They're great for model building or wooden 3d puzzles. The smaller round ones are especially handy shaping balsa or cleaning up blemishes. Recommended.

I don't know why I waited so long to get some of these, but these have been awesome for helping me finish 3d printed models! The sandpaper is easy to swap out on all the models (though on the orange handled ones the set it comes with are glued in, but it comes off pretty easily). Be careful when swapping out the sandpaper on the orange ones as well because there are two metal clamps that come down into the adjustment screw and if you back out too far you'll have to spend a few minutes trying to put the clamp back together.All in all, I think this a good value kit, and I like that I can cut my own sandpaper to use with these.

I've used sanding sticks similar to the orange handled sticks before and I love them. They beat having to make your own from a flat piece of wood and scoring and folding the sandpaper around the wood and taping the ends. I use them primarily for sanding during jewelry fabrication.The clamp and dial work well and do a great job of keeping the sandpaper taut in the device and also create a truly flat sanding surface. The round and square sticks are a new style to me. I love the simplicity of the flip handle and a smaller surface for more detailed work and smaller areas. If you precut strips of sandpaper to size you'll always have some on hand and ready to go. I keep several of these loaded with different grits and mark the handle with a permanent pen so I know which one has which grit..This is a good price for four of these sanding sticks. I've paid the same price for just one larger one before.

These sanding tools will be so helpful with model building and wood carving. Super for sanding tight spots. They are a great deal and are good quality. Recommended!

These are pretty good, though I had a problem with one. The two larger ones are pretty straightforward. It's a durable piece of plastic, and you wrap a piece of sandpaper from. front to back and then use the screw to clamp them down in place. They seem pretty durable and don't really bend much.The smaller two operate a little bit differently. The piece with the sandpaper on it actually lifts up and that's how you replace the sandpaper. You wrap the piece of sandpaper around the semi circular shape on the blue one or the half square shape (like a squared off 'C') on the red one and then close it. And that's what keeps the sandpaper in place. The blue one worked just fine, but the red one had too much of a gap between the edge of the piece that slips over the base by about a 16th of an inch. So when you go to use that sanding stick on something, the part of it that has a sandpiper wants to flop open on its own. I tried to bend the edges inward to make it grip the sides better, but that didn't work. So I'm going to have to come up with some other solution like wrapping some extra tape around it to make it a tighter fit.I do wish they had the measurements of the piece of sandpaper that you need to cut for each stick printed on the stick itself, because that would have been useful. They're pretty useful tools though.

The handle is nice and easy to grip, and the sanding strips work well enough on smaller projects. That said, the sandpaper wears out pretty quickly, and replacing it can be a bit of a hassle. It’s fine for light use, but if you’re tackling bigger restoration jobs, you might want something more durable. Not bad, just not amazing.

These things are really convenient when sanding certain areas like corners or spots you can't get your hand into. You can clip new pieces of sandpaper onto them via the clips. The handles are plastic but the clips are metal. If you don't have something like this, finally using one will change everything and you'll be mad at yourself for not getting some earlier. This set comes with 4 different ones, 2 large ones and 2 small ones.

The small flat file fell apart when I tried to open to put the sandpaper in it. Not happy with this product at all. Supposed to have some extra sandpaper, but it was not with it.
