This is a really nice cable gland. The stainless steel is both strong and durable. The threads on the body of the Cable Gland are nice and tight. The struggle I have with these are the Waterproof part. They do not come with the the seal located at the end of the body where the cable enters. This seal is absolutely essential to provide protection from water ingress and to prevent dust/dirt from entering. The easy installation picture on the product description page shows the seal as part of the product. The NPT3/4" has a cable range of 13-18mm. If I use a cable with a 13mm diameter, that leaves me with 5mm for water/dirt ingress.

These items worked very well on the transom of my boat to install my power pole hydraulic lines. Looks great too. Only issue I had was that I needed to purchase the lock rings separately. No big deal but would have been nice. Other than that all good.

while these look nice the lock nut was not provided yet the sealing Oring was there. Unusable as is.

Shortchanging the nuts, is such a silly thing to do...it makes such a beautiful fitting that would rate this a FIVE PLUS fitting down to a 3, for me!!
