They do work fairly well at bring down the smell at the source. I glued one to the underside of the regular trash can and it worked very well there.

Our trash cans always seem to get funky so I got these because they have the magnetic strips attached. Really they are just cheap magnetic strips stapled to simple charcoal filters but it's a great idea. These have been working well for our cans and do a decent job with getting rid of at least some of the smell.

Installed these inside my trash can. The 6x6 inch size fits perfectly, and I've noticed a pretty decent reduction in the smell since I started using them. They’re easy to replace and seem to last a good amount of time before needing a swap. While they work well overall, I wish they were a bit more durable for the price, but they’re still a good value for keeping unwanted odors at bay.

Perfect carbon filters! The magnets make them easy to attach to metal trash cans. Actually you can attach them anywhere you need odors absorbed. I have even cut them in half lengthwise :) and they still do a good job!!! Definitely recommend them.

These activated carbon filters are a must-have for any pet owner. They're easy to replace and do a decent job at reducing odors from the pet waste bin. I use these for my cat litte box as well as a filter for my soldering booth extractor. both work well and the size is appropriate for smaller uses like these. no issues
