They scuff as expected, but lifespan is very short. Bought a 3 pack and already burned through 2 of them and only halfway done with my project. Other brands I have bought... 1 would have lasted the entire project.

This is such a great, versatile brush. So essential when needing to remove rust, etc. Would recommend.

Attach to your power tool and get busy removing stubborn rust, paint, or debris from a surface. Use caution on wood or vinyl siding to not damage surface. Made scraping paint from house exterior much easier.

I work with stone, but I don’t always want the shape-altering, heavy duty scouring that stone “leathering” brushes bring. Sometimes I want a lighter touch to merely ‘randomize’ the surface and erase tool marks. For that I want something that can lightly scour stone, but not leave tool marks of its own. I’ve tried wire brushes, but they leave metal coloration on the stone, which then has to be cleaned off with other tools. For that lighter touch brushing, I am the most pleased with this nylon, abrasive cup brush designed for an angle grinder. I’ve used it on limestone as well as granite; of course with different effects, but very useful.*I didn’t get this brush with paint or metal stripping in mind, but because that is its designed purpose, and for the sake of this review, I did test it on some paint and rust-stripping projects I had. — Yes indeed, it works well for its intended purpose. An additional advantage of using the nylon brush (over a steel brush) is that if any broken bristles are scattered about a worksite or get in the grass, they won’t present the same injury hazard that stray wire bristles will.

These brushes work like they say they will, but wear fast. I bought them to remove the old paint and rust off of my 6 x 14 utility trailer. They removed the old paint and lite rust very quickly. I used all 4 and only got about 2/3 of the trailer done, so if that's what you're ordering them for you might want a pack of 8.

I recently acquired some nylon bristle wheels and was impressed with them so; when I saw this 3-inch nylon bristle cup, I wanted to give it a try. The cup attaches to an angle grinder that has a 5/8- 11 threaded arbor. This thing is pretty aggressive removing paint off a metal surface with little effort. The bristles had a little wear showing but are still in great shape. It’s amazing to me that these things are as durable as they are. I thought for sure these bristles would bust off and be scattered everywhere but they didn’t and there was no marring of the surface like you would get with a grinding wheel. I am very happy with the results I got.
