I have a set of stepper motors that have exactly the same diameter as the center holes in these couplers. Took me a bit to rig up a stable drill press solution to gently ream out the holes to ensure a near perfect fit. After a little work, they fit the steppers perfectly and then I was able to use the included hex screws to look everything in place.Really happy with the finished look. Highly recommended!

Accurate dimensions. Nice to keep around for random projects and tinkering.

I use a lot of these and these ones are of good quality, have a nice finish, and fit without fuss. Love em.

The lock screws did not hold. They stripped out before providing enough force to hold the coupling in place on the shaft.

These couplers do what they are intended for, but the setscrew location is not what is shown in the images of the product. On two of the four pieces they were in line with one of the flange holes and on the other two they are at some arbitrary angle. They will still work for attaching to a 6mm shaft, but anticipating the set screw hole location to be centered between the flange holes like shown in the product photos will leave you dissatisfied. On top of that the hex wrenches included are complete garbage. One twisted and bend on me after installing one set screw. Overall I don't recommend these.

Need to attach a lever, bell crank, indicator needle/pointer, or couple some other mechanism to a small shaft? One way to do this is with a Mrosnail’s flange coupler set. This is a nice kit of quantity-four, 4-mm (shaft-size) steel flanges. The hub measures about 10 mm in diameter, the flange 22 mm. The vendor claims these are electroplated (they appear to be) and they’re said to be “heat-treated” for hardness. The kit comes complete with grub screws and an Allen wrench to drive the screws home. The seller promotes these for use in RC applications—where they’ll no doubt perform admirably—but I can see application in table-top robotics, ham radio, and small science projects. They remind me of the small shaft flanges that used to be part of old-school erector sets...though these have but 4 holes in the flange.

These small motor flange couplings appear to be well constructed and have some heft to them. Make sure they will fit your application before getting them though. Overall I would get them again in the future if I needed more.
