I was pleasantly surprised when opening these. I expected that they would be stainless (they are) and they would be threaded (of course), but I was surprised to see that both ends are properly finished / rolled over. Usually when buying threaded rod, one end is a mess because they just chopped it to length. These are threaded and formed at their final length.

Four 12" pcs of stainless steel 1/4-20 threaded rod for $10 seems like a good value to me. Maybe a touch expensive but I don't buy threaded rod much so ¯_(ツ)_/¯It seems to be good quality so far. Clean well formed threads and no problem screwing a nut on. For some reason they come in a box that's way bigger than necessary and they come wrapped in bubble wrap? Seems like a waste of plastic to me...not like they'll be damaged if you drop the box.

Three of the four rods were fine, but the fourth one had bad threads and would not take the bolt. Figured it might not be the best quality for this price, so honestly not surprised.

The threads on 2 of the pieces were damaged and had to be rethreaded.

I needed a some pieces of 5/16" stainless all-thread/threaded rod for a project. The 12" pieces are straight and the threads are even and nuts spin smoothly. Good quality and just what I needed.
