Each pack contains nine 400-calorie bars. If you plan to eat three bars a day — most folks do — that’s a 3-day supply for 1 person. (You may want or need more calories and nutrients per day. For optimal nutrition, you may need to supplement with other survival food or rations on hand.)
Each bar is enriched with critical vitamins and minerals. They're Kosher, BHT & BHA-free and have no cholesterol or peanut oil.

where it doesn't go lower than -40⁰ F.The taste is fine, and the consistency is rather like shortbread. For an emergency provision, these are perfect.I have purchased them before, and I will continue to buy them.

This excels as an emergency pack food, it is pretty light and compact. It is essentially crisco and sugar mixed with lemon flavoring. it does a fantastic job of providing energy when you can't cook in any outdoor expedition. would recommend keeping a few in an emergency kit in the garage and car.keep a couple zip locks to store remainder as it is great to eat a bit at a time.

I keep these as emergency rations, but also decided to try them hiking. They're not I dividually wrapped, and the package isn't re-sealable so it lost a star. I like that the first ingredient isn't sugar, like a similar product. I didn't love the blocks, they are bulky, and difficult to eat. And crumbs everywhere. It tasted like a boring not-too-sweet cookie. But I could eat it without needing to drink anything to wash it down. One 400 calorie bar is enough for a 4 hour hike on fairly technical terrain. And price-wise, it's comparable to energy bars, and much tastier than most.

One of the water packets opened up, and the box was wet when I got it, but it’s not worth the hassle of trying to get any kind of compensation back.Is the second liquid order I’ve gotten a row where it was damaged.

Do not buy this product unless you like spending 60% more money than the same item you can get on Amazon from the manufacturer.Just look at the brand name.. (starts with an M- if say it, but my last review was taken down by Amazon for saying it.) then do a search for it.You can get the same thing for 16 bucks.Now, the product itself is great... It is NOT a meal replacement. It's mostly for emergency food... However I like to use them when backpacking or backcountry skiing... The fat and carbs give me energy, and the calories replace what I'm burning.Taste is good.. Like a shortbread cookie.. (it does not taste exactly like one.. But that's the closest similarity.) It also doesn't leave you thirsty after.Just whatever you do... Do NOT pay what you see here... Unless you like paying 11 dollars and change more for the heck of it.I should have paid more attention to the packaging before I bought it. Shame on me. But my mistake will save you money! So there's that..
