This clamp is a very good shaft stop. The ID size is correct and the faces are perpendicular to the axis of the bore.

I use these on either side of Garden trailer wheels mounted on a three quarter inch stainless steel shaft The fit was perfect and the set screws locked the collars down securely. However, I would suggest using a threadlocker to assure that the set screws do not back out during use. Obviously, I would not recommend using a simple collat such as this on things like a go kart axle where injury could be very serious if the wheel failed.
