This 4-Pack 3M VHB Adhesive Pads for Dash Cam Mount is some super strong adhesive. I found this out only because we attempted to remove the dashcam that we installed a month later because we were selling our car. It held on really tight that I had snapped off the arm of my dashcam. The advesive held the cam in place without rocking. Once dashcam was removed, the adhesive was easily removed with some adhesive remover and a blade.

Don't know what it is about the roads here in Arizona, but we tend to get an excessive amount of rocks being flung up while driving, leading to cracked windshields that have to be replaced periodically. If you're lucky and the shop that you are going to actually cares, they will re-adhere your mount to the new window as part of the process. The last place I went to didn't do this, so I needed some new adhesive.This stuff showed up fast and works great. You never know about authenticity with some online marketplaces but this appears to be legit VHB product. "Adhesion promotor" = isopropyl alcohol wipe. Nothing super special, but nice that it was included to make sure you get a good bond to whatever surface you are adhering to.

I live in Florida and the heat and humidity will loosen the grip on your car mounts quickly if they don't have a quality adhesive pad.I used these pads to mount my expensive iPhone mag safe holder to the dash of my car. It originally came with a 3M adhesive pad but when my car was flooded in the last hurricane, I removed the iPhone mount from that car and wanted to put it in the car I replaced it with. I initially tried to use an adhesive pad from a mount that I did not use in the past. It fell off while I was driving the next day.The day after that I ordered these and secured my iPhone mount properly! It has been months and rain or shine, heat and humidity it STAYS on my dash! Don't compromise, get 3m adhesive pads and you can't go wrong. These are sold in a great sized assortment at under $9 that will last you a long time unless you need to attach so many things to your dash you can't see out of the windshield!
