All metal construction and cleanly cut threads, can be used to measure inside and outside threads, I was able to positively identify a rather obscure brake fitting on my 05-Ram making it possible to locate a supplier and be sure I would get what I needed.

I am surprised how much I use this tool. Good quality. Great price. Easy to use. I have found at least one thread size that does not seem to be represented on the tool. It may be a metric issue, I am not sure. If I find a metric version of this I will buy it also.

Exactly what i needed but very difficult to try and fit on fittings affixed to a frame while they are on the cable, hard to explain. but it would have been much easier to use without the cable. And no i didnt cut the cable because i like the idea of them all being in one spot, so im not sure what solution is...lol. im sure someone will have a very simple idea. But happy with purchase.
