I haven't gotten to set it up yet to see if it works because it was missing parts. Mainly the suction cups for the probe mount. Kind of hard to mount the probe in my water reservoir without them. And the probe is not fully submergible. Thus making this thing completely useless unless I engineer something! The probe and pump were dirty and clearly used before. The booklet that comes with it says it has a factory warranty of 2 years but gives absolutely no information (email, phone #) on where or how to file the claim. I attempted to search for the brand online and came up with nothing. I would not advise purchasing this product from this seller.

This thing is great - it's a perfect compliment to my hydroponic tower and it lets me monitor all the important aspects of water quality even when i'm not home. Not cheap but it's good quality construction so it's worth it.

I calibrated (3 point) using the included solutions. Cleaned and dried in between. PH is woefully off (currently reading 2.08 on a 6.14ph solution verified with other, non-wifi enabled devices.Good idea. Bad execution. Will be returning for refund and go back to tending to my Aerogarden using manual testing mechanisms.Do not recommend.

Ph readings off by 3.0Will calibrate to 4.01But never reads 6.86 or the 9.18 buffer powderEven tried a different companies, ph buffing powder.Still still the same readings... bummer ...wanted it to work ;(...

I'm glad that we're starting to see low price products like this one. It works a lot better than my previous one. It's pretty simple to set up and use.If you're new to all this, just take your time reading the instructions and playing with it. Once you get everything set up, it's just a matter of monitoring it.Very good.

I grow a few things in semi hydro but since I'm new to it, I'm sure I'll be making a ton of mistakes.Although not new to growing houseplants, veggies, herbs, flowers or even propagating, I am new to semi hydro. I can watch all the social media video's I want, I'm still going to make mistakes along the way, especially with the houseplants.I have a few different setups so I needed something to help take the guesswork out of it for me.When this nutrient testing smart device came onto my Amazon Vine feed, I decided to order it.For those of you not familiar with Amazon Vine: I have been invited by Amazon to take part in the Amazon Vine program & I take that very seriously.I order products I am interested in, try them out and give my honest review on that product.I am not paid in any way by Amazon or the sellers for my reviews.Since I am an Amazon customer as well, I provide as much detail as possible for other customers in order to help make an informed decision on the products. I do not recommend products I myself wouldn't use.I have houseplants that I just planted in a semi hydro environment using Leca.I also have herbs and veggie plants growing in a hydroponic vertical garden as well as a hydroponic growing system with tank and full spectrum light.It's imperative I keep the nutrients where they need to be.This smart device just may be the answer to my prayers.I have only used it for my semi hydro houseplant that was just started a couple weeks ago.Nutrients are where they need to be, at least for now, so I was not able to see how this smart device reacts to readings too low or too high.My other hydro systems are being set up next week so I can start preparing for my May planting outdoors.Once I get everything fully set up and I am able to give a full review as to how this testing device works, I'll update with better pictures.

PH was way off out of the box, 4.6 in ~6.0 PH water. Kept showing the little disconnection exclamation mark. Followed the instructions to reset it. Kept reading 14 PH and not connecting. Finally connected the moment I took the probe out of the hydroponic garden. Put it back in, went back to the incorrect PH reading, lost connection a few seconds later. Repeated this a few times to confirm that, yes, it loses connection after inserting it into the water.I could try calibrating the PH, however if it loses connection every time the probe is inserted into water, it's entirely useless.
