I use these to jumper wires together for capacitators, relays and multiple power feeds. Sometimes I need to add a wire for a sensor or another electrical component. These are great for adding wires without having to splice them together. The terminals are well made of brass and make a tight fit with the terminal they are mated with. The kit has three types of the spade clips and is priced much better than the pack of five at the hardware store. Highly recommended.

Three kinds of brass spade connectors. These are suitable for outdoor use, perhaps not marine use, but still, they are very tight. These kinds of connectors work because when they join, the mating surface forms an airtight connection, so that air cannot get in between and corrode. For that to work well, they have to be real brass, not brass plated. To test, I cut one open and verified it is real brass. Keep in mind, that these are not the best choice for connections that have to be disconnected and reconnected often -- brass will degrade somewhat under those conditions, and you should use gold plated connectors for that application, not brass. These are all mixed up in the little plastic box, but I don't really mind that. These are fine.
