My primary purview is electronics, computers, and power tools. I'm a former fence/deck builder and framer. I am proficient with a wide range of tools and mechanical concepts. I have a fairly strong mechanical inclination (physical mechanics, not auto mechanics). My higher education was focused on EET (Eletronic Engineering Technology). Work experience also includes QC in the areas of technical and medical manufacturing (gas delivery, injection molding), as well as in the manufacturing itself. Machine operation and limited construction machinery. If you are reading this review, please keep the above facts in mind when gauging the validity of my opinions, perspectives, and thoughts/views on specific items, and how my experience/expertise might apply. ***** With respect to clothing, my views are based on my specific body type/shape: Height: 5'9" Weight: 190 Shoe size: ~9 (can range between 8.5 and 10, USA sizing chart). Glove size: Fluctuates between "Medium" and" Large" All clothing manufacturers have individual, mutually exclusive views and perspectives on the human body, their shapes, and fit (loose, tight, slim, "medium," etc.). As such, no two manufacturers will design even identical clothing items in a manner that would fit any given person the same way. Other people's opinions should always be taken with this "grain of salt," in my humble opinion. ***** Method: Each of the categories below are rated on a scale of 1-10. This derives and obvious 'average' category score. However, not all categories are weighted in the same manner, or to equal degree. Which category carries the most weight depends on the item, its purpose, manufacturer claims/description and their accuracy, and its performance/operation with regard to its intended purpose. The "Bonus" category is based on my personal views and tastes, but is designed to call out specific areas where a manufacturer gave a little bit extra, while cosidering their targeted demographic. All of this rolls up into "Overall Rating Description," which is used to gauge a more accurate means of honestly rating items using Amazon's 1-5 star system in a consistent manner, as objectively and honestly as I am able. For arts/crafts, botanicals, fabrics, essential oils, cooking, and a few other areas, I lean heavily on my wife. Her knowledge, expertise, and experience in these areas vastly exceed my own, wich will provide a better reliability to the information I provide. I will provide images/video to items I believe justify them. Finally, if you have any suggestion(s) regarding something you believe should be considered/reveiwed that I have not included, please feel free to leave a comment to that effect. The aim is to provide the best possible review. Please be sure to provide some reasoning behind your suggestion(s). All suggestions will be considered. Please also be aware that insults/attacks will be summarily dismissed as irrelevant to my life.

19yrs ago I met my Wife here in the College Station area where she had grew up and naturally she is a Huge Texas A&M Aggie Fan!So when I saw this Huge College Sports Mixing Bowl with her teams Logo I had to order for her. Of course she loved it, and it is a perfect size Serving bowl for watching “Bowl Games” or any other games you people over for and want to put out snacks or food. I used it for some Chicken Pasta Salad here in my picture, but just remember it’s not Microwave safe don’t pop it in the Microwave to melt some cheese or heat up what you mixed. It is a very hard plastic however to the point it almost feels ceramic so it’s not Cheaply made. Plus being almost 5Quarts big can hold a lot.It deserves 5 Stars and i’m hoping to see one with my home states team on it later so we can both have one, OH- -

===Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the manufacturer and always write from my true experience. But please note that I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review.===Review begins:Both I and my son attended Texas A&M, prior to our military service. As such, we have a lot of Aggie memorabilia in our home. This bowl, which is a nice capacity, is perfect for popcorn or pretzels to enjoy while in the man cave or out back around the firepit. The bowl has a great shape for easily passing around and is a solid piece of Melamine. You can also use it as a mixing bowl or even a smaller punch bowl.My son and I discussed it and he will be ordering a couple of extras for tailgate season, which is coming up soon It will also hold 6 bottles of your favorite brew on ice. We know. We tried that this past weekend. While Melamine is dishwasher safe, this just as easily washes up in a sink. We DID run it on the top rack of the dishwasher and the colors stayed clean and in place.Get this for YOUR favorite Aggie!End of Review===Thank you for taking a minute out of your busy life to read my review. Please let me and Amazon know if you found this review helpful (or got a laugh out of it) by clicking on the “Helpful” button below. I appreciate your support and thank you in advance. I receive no monetary compensation for my reviews, but try to help potential buyers make an informed choice.

I love melamine mixing bowls, and this one is large. You can mix up a batch of potato salad, or mix batter or other treats, and you can also use it as a serving bowl for chips, sides, and many types of salads and side dishes. It has a rubber ring on the bottom so it is non-skid when mixing. Which is one of my favorite features in a mixing bowl. Melamine is not microwave safe-- that is not unique to this bowl-- I've had lots of melamine bowls in the past and do not expect them to go in the microwave. Maybe other reviewers aren't familiar with melamine? I had some blue melamine bowls from Williams-Sonoma that cost a LOT more than this bowl. They eventually cracked, but it was after a number of years and some drops on the floor. So I expect this bowl to hold up. It's top rack dishwasher safe. The TAMU logo is a nice touch. I don't live in TX anymore, so having a few Aggie things around the house is nice. I am a TAMU graduate so I like to show my Aggie spirit. It's a small logo on the side, and maroon around the top rim of the bowl. I see it also comes in some other team logos and colors.
