I have went through three of these this one and replaced it with two smaller ones as they were out of the larger. this one shorted out after two months. it was very load and ran really hot hot motor would stink up the place. the replacements were no better. I was running both at once and one died after 1.5 hours of use. they claimed I over amped it. but my vac safety kept it about 15% below max vacuum. after that I bought a inline amp meter so I would know what the motor was doing at all times. the last motor lasted about one month it was a 10.25 amp motor and it never got above 7 amps. it overheated running at 7 amps and only 2/3 of the vac and it hit over 250 degrees smelled like burned motor and died. these motors seem to run really hot and just keep getting hotter the longer they run. I replaced it with a used German made one off of ebay for 400.00 less and on the same load it runs 75 degrees cooler. the seller was nice to deal with but I was blamed for them.
