There's not a whole lot to say about an idler pulley. They either work or they don't. However, there are some things on this one that just stuck out to me. First off, it's noticeably lighter than the original. The plastic just seems thinner (didn't pull out the micrometer). Also, one edge is kinda rough and raised up a bit. It feels like plastic flashing from when it was molded. I can see that getting into the belt. It might not do anything, but I just wanted to note it. It does, however, spin and do so smoothly. So that's good.

This seems fine on install. I figured what the heck since my serpentine and old tensioner pulley bearings had been spinning for eight years and I was getting a slight ringing from tensioner. Strangely this new Pulley surface is a bit marred out of the box. Also piece says "Canada" while box says "made in China." Strange.I will return and update to this review if it fails in five years or less, although in my experience with these no name parts the company and listing disappear long before that.
