I’m obsessive over tactical backpacks and will research for a long time before I make a decision. This is hands down the best bag I’ve ever owned. The quality of the material is unmatched. I love the fact the zippers can be locked together for added security I will be loyal to this brand from now on. Also it fits my 17in gaming laptop even when the laptop is already in a hard hell protective case.

I needed something for my mobility chair and nothing seems to work on it. This backpack stays tight to my chair and doesn't wobble. It gives me all the pockets I need for my lunch, Dr paperwork in first aid kit. I definitely recommend this product

Only used for a few weeks but nice so far.Carried 3 laptops (2 17"s and 1 15") in it, and it performed well.Lots of pockets, more mole webbing than I'll ever use. Zippers are good quality.The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the sternum strap, way too high, it was in my collar bone. Unlaced it and moved it down, its better but still feels out of place.maybe it's just me IDK.Id recommend:It's comfortable, durable , lots of storage, good zippers. I like the cinch straps on the bottle holdersIf you like lots of straps, buckles and mole webbing then this is the pack for you

Backpack is useless. Not even worth donating.Zippers are of poor quality. Will not remain closed and split open with only a laptop inside.Spare yourself and avoid this poor Chinese made junk. There are other packs on Amazon for the same price with much more quality.

After purchasing the AMERICANPHOENIX tactical backpack, I was genuinely impressed by the standout quality of its zippers. They perfectly encapsulate the military-grade durability promised, effortlessly handling extensive use without showing any signs of wear. The way these zippers secure the main compartment and external straps, even under heavy loads, has been nothing short of reliable. I recommend their product for anyone on the fence. Here is how I have been using it.As a graduate student I use this backpack everyday. The straps on the back can sustain the weight of my heavy laptop, plus the straps to tighten the backpack pull everything closer to my back so the weight feels lighter (see photos). You can also adjust the length of the shoulder strap not only from the bottom like every backpack, but also from the top. This also brings the weight closer to the shoulders (and away from the lower back) once I am wearing it (easier to make the straps shorter after putting on the backpack than to put on a backpack with short straps).The back has plenty depth, I was able to pack a 7 day trip in it, and after tightening it down, it fit under the seat in the airplane very easily. If I hadn't strapped it down, it would have not fit. The front compartment are also convenient to hold things like hand sanitizer, ear plugs, etc. Lastly, I also use it get groceries which are walking distance from my place. I am never worried about the stitching tearing due to the weight. And tightening to bring the items closer to my back makes the walk back very easy. I am going to take the backpack with me on my next hiking trip, there are 2 side bags for big water bottles, and a bottom strap to secure a towel or flipflops.One of my best investments.
