Item came packaged well but the door and other parts had minor scratches and/or some scuffs. The hinges even had some rust. That means it came from the factory that way. Other pieces were slightly bent and took some maneuvering to get it to align. The directions are a bit difficult since the parts are not labeled but if you put Ikea furniture together this shouldn't be too difficult. The lock is mostly plastic and feels flimsy which is a let down but it works. Also you only get one key in addition to the three digit combo lock which stinks. Mine came with knob legs, but no where to install it, which would allow it to not sit in moisture should it rain so that's was another downer. We'll see how it holds up and what packages actually fit in it. Hopefully it will prove its worth and keel my packages away from porch pirates.

The assembly was not quite as easy as it should have been, but by no means was it a terrible experience.This is deeper than I expected despite knowing the depth at purchase. It works well to hold parcels that are a bit larger.
