Incredibly sharp-bought this to cut away surgical glue on an incision from surgery where the glue was matting and not dissolving. It allowed for a very easy cut and so sharp that very little skin went with it !!!

Got these specifically for on the trail blister treatment. Haven't used them but they include the handle and meet my needs.

I use these scalpels for making fine silver clay jewelry. I use the scalpels to clean up the clay in the finishing prior to firing the clay pieces. They are of very high quality, sharp and the price was fantastic. Highly recommend.

I am so far very satisfied with these scalpels. I bought the #15 since they have one of the narrowest blade. Before you order be sure to find a picture of each of the Miltex scalpels to see how each blade is shaped and the size of the blade so you buy the proper scalpel based on your needs. I thought the smallest blade would be the lowest number. That is not the case. The quality of the blade seems very good and it is definitely sharp. I was able to compare to an older blade and it was definitely dull. Seems like a great purchase for the price. I will buy from this seller again. Make sure you always put the plastic cover back on anytime you use these scalpels. They are sharp.

Not much to say here - lightweight, sharp, individually packaged. I am using them for craft work (cutting leather) and they are much easier to use than utility or hobby knives. I would take care if there are children in the house.

Scalpels for $1 each? Wow. And they are SHARP.No-frills and disposable, but if you need scalpels for a craft project or a little home surgery, these are pretty hard to beat. Certainly a lot cheaper than Xacto knives.
