We liked that this was acrylic and not glass. Not really what we expected but we love it nonetheless. It's a fun twist to our new game room.Can't tell you if it was easy to install because we had someone do it for us. It looked easy for him 😉We used Govee light bulbs which our son loves! He likes the colors.

Nothing is assembled on it. It doesn't give good directions, just 4 pictures on a sheet of paper. Already have an outlet on the ceiling for it. Have to get a plug so can try to wire it and mount it.

Wire was hard to to work with when making adjustments, too tight of a whole at the mounting plate
