What a pain. As I was installing the cap, I could not get it to sit down on the flange of the distributor housing. It felt like it was close and might fit if it was squeezed on with the bolts, but because it was sitting crooked, one of the bolts started to cross-thread. After chasing the threads and re-installing, the cap just cracked as I was snugging it down. I wasted an evening on a 10 minute maintenance job and now one of my distributor holes is compromised. Stay away.

I bought this to do a tune up on my boat with the 4.3 L V6. The product fit and did function as I expected BUT the parts are not what I would call marine rated because the screws that came with the distributor cap are cad plated steel which will begin rusting immediately. The OEM cap screws are stainless steel. I did not check all the spark plug wire ends but the one for the distributor to coil has zinc plated steel connectors on the ends. The factory original wires (Mercruiser) have brass end connectors. The brass one that I removed from the coil was severely corroded and would have been totally rusted away had it been plated steel. I did get my boat up and running quite well with the parts but I plan to replace them with real Mercruiser parts before they rust and cause failure which I'm sure will be soon. Buying the new correct parts isn't the worst part. It's the removal and installation because the parts are very difficult to access.

Fit as well as OEM. Wires are lightweight but they certainly improved the performance of the engine.

These tires are awesome! I restored an old dirt buggy and the tires were shot. I couldn't believe I found an entire set of tires for what I thought was a very reasonably price. After wrestling to get them on the rims, I had to have them installed at a used tire shop (using the starter fluid explosion technique). Very satisfied.
