I use a lot of wire connectors, and often I just need to connect a single wire to another single wire. In those cases, a wire splice like this is just the ticket.Pros for these connectors:* firm hold on the wire* solid "click" on the lever; won't lift easily* slots & tabs allow you to gang these together* versatile for connecting solid & stranded wires of a range of gaugesCons:* holes for wires aren't as deep as many other types* opaque body doesn't allow you to check wire insertion depth (YQSIYU also has clear-bodied connectors)Generally, I'm happy with these for certain purposes -- obviously you can't connect more than 2 wires together, which is a different application requiring a different connector.

Did a project recently where I had to move some circuits from one breaker panel to an adjacent breaker panel (from grid power to battery backed up power). These splice connectors worked great for extending the wires coming into the breaker box, through a conduit, and into an adjacent breaker box. Much easier and takes less space than a large wire nut. I also use the 3 in 3 out version of these for hot/neutral/ground splicing. Wire nuts are a thing of the past!

I'm using these to create quick disconnect points at the bottom of my speaker stands with 12 AWG stranded copper speaker wire and they hold very securely. I'm sure there's audiophiles out there shaking their heads, but the connection seems to pass the audio signal just fine with no distortion. They also snap to each other securely and I really like the fact that you can create gangs of any size you need. Everything has a satisfying click. It's harder to activate the levers than the popular orange and clear brand of electrical connectors, but other than stinging your skin if you let the tip hit it snapping down, it seems to work well enough and I haven't found any issues even opening and closing it many times.Its markings claim a rating for 32 amps, 250 volts, but I only see a CE marking and no electrical certifications so I don't think this has been through proper testing. You'd be relying on the designed safety parameters. This does have small holes though which you can see the copper busbar from the bottom and the silver spring from the top. I think these would be fine inside a proper enclosure such as an electrical box, but I wouldn't use these dangerous voltages in the open due to those holes.

I plan to use these in working with amateur radio. I have tested them on several different wire gauges from 28awg up to 10awg. I found that 12awg was the limit in size. 10awg was too large to insert into the connectors. Regardless of the wire gauge, I was not able to pull it off once locked down. Smaller wire gauges would break first, but larger gauges were just firmly clamped and not releasing.Based on the markings on the device, they are rated for 0.08mm² (awg 32) to 2.5mm² (awg 14) and can handle 32A of current at up to 250V with a 4KV breakdown voltage. I used this information for my title. Based on the ratings I would hesitate to use this with 12awg wire just so I wasn't tempted to overload them.Each connector has one side with slots and the other side has keys so they snap together to form a single unit. You can connect any number of them and any color.After some serious effort I was able to disassemble one. The two clamshell halves are well clipped together and will not simply fall apart. The primary connection is a solid copper bar 2.7mm wide, 0.55mm thick and 24mm long. The spring tension is maintained with a steel spring system. See the attached photos for how this is all laid out.These should be an excellent quick connection clamp that works well for the long haul. Highly recommend.

Not what I expected. The functionality is so so.The wire tends to come out of these. I've found another brand that I have had better luck with.The other brand makes it easy. You stick the wire in, clamp it down and it's very secure.These, when you put it in it's hard to push them down.A lot of the newer Chinese light fixtures have these kinds of connectors instead of wire nuts.I'm not going to end up using these. Not very well made.
