I've used it quite a few times and I have yet to scratch or mangle any trim pieces with this tool. It looks like it's stainless steel, but it is magnetic... The grip is good, but it's basically a heat shrink handle wrap, that might not hold up to continuous use or harsh chemicals. I'm not that hard on it and haven't had to hose it down with brake clean or any other harsh chemicals. The exact one I have is https://amzn.to/3XA0a5o

This worked for helping remove some door panels on a project for a van. It did get a bit too bendy at times, but readjusting the angle of leverage seemed to work. Overall it is a rather simple and straightforward tool that served its purpose. Not sure of its longevity with repeated uses but it is decent enough.

I used this for trim and door skin removal on my car during a new speaker install . It’s thin and durably strong. I used this in a variety of areas it works well and is versatile in use for car or home . It’s a good value. Recommended!

Very nice little pry tool. Smaller than construction tools, but a little bigger than most that are designed for use on car trim and electronics. The steel is strong and well hardened. The handle is thick, easy to grip, and comfortable to use. The tip is thin enough and smooth enough to get into tight spaces without damaging anything. And the angle and overall shape allow for decent leverage in most uses.

It is super strong yet has a .04 inch thick tip, with a slight angle to give some mechanical advantageif trying to pry something that is really stuck.mirror polished pry tool A tad over 7 inches in length, X 1 inch handle width.Weight is 3.4 oz.I would think this appeals to 3 major users of pry tools:1) The EDC (Every day carry) preparedness folks that tend to carry a little bag of tools all the time to have improved capabilities to repair things when out and about. The fact that this is thin and mostly flat, yet as strong as this is, should appeal to anyone looking for an EDC pry tool to round out their EDC kit.2) The DIY folks that try and repair their own appliances when a simple electrical component burns out. Typically this involves removing a few screws and then forcing some plastic molded case to open along a split line that was not really meant to be pried apart. I am definitely in this category, simply because appliances fail from simple things usually, and with a bit of knowledge and effort you can fix them for pennies rather than buy for a new appliance. I have a pry tool that came with a watch repair kit that has a .02 inch thick tip on it, but it is too small to do the entire case splitting by itself. This tool would compliment that smaller one perfectly. Use the small tool to start the split, then pop this tool in to finish opening the appliance case.3) Auto trim removal. I do this on my own vehicles, and have an array of tools for the various tasks involved. This would be nice to have for that as well. The shrink wrap cushion on the handle is very functional. It protects your hand as well as the work.I would not just throw this tool in with a bunch of other rough tools, as you might damage the handle wrap.

The pry bar is very well polished and very hefty in hand. The tip is quite thin, but very strong at the same time. This is the perfect tool to pry off delicate trim panels in the car. The plastic/fabric material that covers the handle is both comfortable and pleasant to look at. However, the finish is not up to par. See the finish near the tip and, especially, at the end. This tool can be so much nicer to have if the manufacturer can take care of the details. The haphazard finish does not decrease its utility, but does make it less desirable. I hope they can make some small changes to address the issue.
