These clevises (clevi?) are very well-manufactured and perfectly balanced for making spinner baits. I have made 2 inline, 2 overhead arm, and 2 double blade spinnerbaits and all of them spin effortlessly when I reel them in. I am very happy with this product and plan to refurbish some of my older lures as well as creating new ones with them.

These clevis's are small; they come in size 1 and size 2, so they are only good for the very smallest spinners. They are strong enough for this purpose and off similar strength to my other size 1 and 2 clevises. The finish is strange; it's kind of bumpy or more matte rather than be a shiny, slick plated surface. I'm not sure if this affects the spinning function; I haven't noticed a difference yet but it is a concern. I was also concerned that, because the finish wasn't what I expected, the clevises would rust. I can confidently say this is not the case. I tested them by leaving them in a container of water for a week. The water dried up and no rust appeared.
