I knew when I ordered it that it wasn’t a Honeywell valve but for almost half the price I would give it a shot. The valve is poorly machined and as some have mentioned 3/4 pipe is not a good fit. The mechanism of the valve is just not quality. I returned it and purchased a Honeywell. The difference was very noticeable.

It was a direct replacement for the one that failed. No problems and good quality also a lot cheaper than the heater service would charge.

The mechanism feels sloppy and loose, some of the gears have far too much play in them. It functions, but I can't imagine it'll last the 5+ years I get from the originals. Good thing I've only got 4 zones. My gut is telling me this thing binds up before winter is over. A reluctant 3* because it works but definitely isn't manufactured up to the OEM spec (or maybe I just got a bad one).

I purchased this to replace a honeywell that was installed 22 years ago. It went into place with ease. I found that the micro switch would not engage to turn on pump if I tightened the mounting screws. I ended up leaving the screws loose and the assembly worked as expected.
