Everything is of industrial quality in this lights tower. The 24V 0.75A power supply is from Mean Well, who builds industrial power supplies. It is UL listed for Canada and USA. The switches are from ABB, who makes industrial equipment. The switch box is of very high quality, with thick plastic, captive screws and sealing gasket. If you want to use this light tower for industrial automation, the easiest way to interface it is to use relays. The switches are not powering the LEDS directly. When closed, the switch sends a signal to the control board to activate the corresponding light. For each color, the 16 LEDs are in series and they receive 22.6V.This light tower really deserves its 5 stars.

I'm using this andon for my CNC machine and it works well. The lights are fairly bright and easy to see from a distance although I find that the green light is brighter than the rest. The andon arrived preassembled and it feels rigid as it's primarily made of thick plastic with an aluminum pole and the switches have a firm click. The mounting bracket is made of steel and it doesn't bend or flex with the weight of the light or while turning the switches, although it does allow the andon to bounce and shake. This andon doesn't include a buzzer and the lights don't have flashing capabilities whereas some others are able to flash if the dial is rotated in the opposite direction.Overall this is a decent andon and the included power cord is roughly 6 feet long and the power supply appears to be of good quality. The switch box is easy to disassemble and everything fits together smoothly without issues. Something to note is that the lights are modular, however the power cable for the top red light runs through the whole assembly and is soldered to the circuit board at the bottom. This prevents the lights from being removed if needed although the rest of the lights have removable connectors.

The bright colors—red, yellow, green, and blue—are highly visible from a distance, making it easy to convey status updates at a glance. The plug-and-play design is incredibly user-friendly; simply connect the 6-ft industrial adapter, and they are ready to use without complicated installation. The compact stackable format takes up minimal space while still delivering robust functionality. This makes it a great tool for environments where clear communication and efficiency are key. What I Dislike: However, there are a few potential downsides to consider. While the LED lights are bright, they may not be as effective in direct sunlight, and the colors can wash out in very bright conditions. While the build quality seems solid, concerns about durability under harsh industrial conditions should be considered, as it may not withstand extreme impacts or environmental factors.I primarily use these Andon Tower Lights in a workshop setting to signal workflow status and enhance communication among team members. They effectively indicate whether a machine is operational, in need of assistance, or requires maintenance, helping to streamline processes and improve safety awareness.Overall, these lights serve as a valuable addition to any industrial workspace, facilitating efficiency and clarity in operations.

This is a well made and very low power signal tower stack light that has an input range from 85VAC-264VAC making it useful in many applications. The product comes with a 4 hole control box and a 6 foot two prong US plug to quickly connect the light to a power source. The product includes the pole andAC adapter to power the device. The device has passed and been certified by many security and safety agencies and is a safe product to use as it is very low power. The colours lit up can be controlled with the switches on the box and takes some getting used to.Great quality commercial grade signal light can be useful in many applications.

Review for: "ANDONT 4 Stack Super Bright LED Andon Tower Lights, Red/Yellow/Green/Bule, Off-ON, 6 ft Industrial Adapter, Plug Play Ready"Brand: ANDONTThe 4-stack Super Bright Tower Lights came in a plain brown box (14.4 cm x 9.1 cm x 69.6 cm) with the specialized power cord with UL-listed certification for use in Canada.Testing & opinion: When I opened the box, the blue and green were detached so I thought it may be broken, but then I realized they come apart and I was able to just twist them back together. PerhapsThe last tower lights I tested only had 1 light with 3 knobs for solid green, solid amber or flashing red with siren. This one has 4 separate lights including blue, but only has on/off for each one, with no options of flashing or a siren. It would be nice to have the options of solid or flashing for each colour, and another switch for a siren. The other one also mixed colours if you had two on at the same time, whereas this one has separate light lenses for each colour so you can have them all on at the same time or just one or two or three. Under each lens is the same coloured LEDs inside so you can see the colours whether it's on or off, but It lights up in that colour when on.One thing I noticed is that when any of the lights are on, there is a blue light behind the "Andont" logo below the stack. It lights up a bit of the blue lens so may look like the blue light is on when it isn't.This light stack can be used for various purposes by communicating visually. The cord connects underneath so it needs to be mounted or hung by the 90 degree hook on the back.
